Jason Hope is an Arizona native who grew up fostering an interest in entrepreneurship and helping the world. He studied at Arizona State University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance while there. He also earned his Master of Business Administration degree while attending the W.P. Carey School of Business. Today, he continues to work with younger aspiring entrepreneurs as a mentor and has put together a special scholarship program that offers grants to high school students who have great ideas. He is also a philanthropist who supports the anti-aging industry because he believes there is a future in stopping age-related diseases before they even happen.
Jason Hope has been a supporter of the work of Aubrey de Grey for some time, which has to do with anti aging research. Aubrey is Chief Science Officer and Founder of the SENS Research Foundation, which is a research center that works with regenerative medicine in the hopes that it can treat the ill effects of aging before or after they occur. Every year, the foundation hosts the Rejuvenation Biotechnology Conference, which gathers together all of the top minds in the field to come up with solutions to the problems presented by aging. Diseases, such as, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and Parkinson’s disease are all discussed with the main focus being on how to treat them in new ways.
Jason Hope recently decided to donate $500,000 to the SENS Foundation to pursue his dreams of being able to help defeat these kinds of diseases. His donation was a large part of the reason why the foundation was able to open up the Cambridge SENS Laboratory. Hope commented that he was glad to able to make the donation and that he had been following Dr. Aubrey de Grey’s work for many years. He also talked in detail about how lung diseases and Alzheimer’s disease are responsible for premature aging in the body. He also made it clear that he supported the mission of the foundation, which is to put a stop to these kinds of diseases before they ever take place rather than simply working to find new treatments.
Jason Hope is looking forward to continuing his support of the SENS Foundation, and he sees a future where people can live happier and healthier lives. His donations to the SENS Foundation and other charitable causes will never be forgotten, and the world is lucky to have a man like him in it.
