The Rise of Adam Milstein

Adam Milstein was born to Eva Milstein and Hillel Milstein. Hillel was a real estate developer while Eva was a home maker. Adam was raised in Haifa, Israel before moving to the U.S. later in life. His mother, Eva, migrated from Mexico when she was 18 years old, and Hillel migrated from Argentina at the age of 19. Even though he participated in the Independence war as a combat sailor, he later on became a building framer after he got married to Eva in 1950. Adam Milstein also had two siblings, Dalit and Joshua.

He started working for the Israeli Defense Forces in 1971 before getting married to Gila in 1974. He later on moved his family to the U.S. in 1981 before graduating with an MBA from the University of California. During his time in the forces, Adam served throughout the Yom Kippur War in 1973. He was also part of the Ariel Sharon’s Division that aided in the surrender of the Third Egyptian Army Division across the Suez Canal. He then joined the Israeli Institute of Technology while still in the army and graduated in 1978 with his first degree in economics and business. When doing his studies, he also assisted his father in the real estate construction business, and that is where he got interest in the industry. After receiving his MBA, Adam Milstein also started a real estate company in the U.S. after working as a sales agent for some time. He already had moved to abroad, he already had two of his daughters.

Together with his wife, Adam co-founded the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation. Through this organization, they have been able to offer philanthropic and charitable services to a high number of organizations in a bid to strengthen the U.S. – Israel relationship, the State of Israel and the Jewish people. Some of the philanthropic services he personally offers include consulting, fundraising and coming up with support programs for partners to assist in Jewish education and pro-Israel advocacy.

To continuously reach out to bigger audiences, Adam Milstein has been running a podcast that focuses on pertinent issues facing Israel. He is also running highly tailored programs under his foundation, which have proven highly effective in reaching out to age groups. here
